The Essentials We Believe:

The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

There is only one God, seen in three persons through the Trinity - The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  All three persons of the Trinity are equal in authority and deity which can be seen through Jesus as both 100% God and 100% man.  The Holy Spirit is still active today through people and the spiritual gifts.

God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sin- fully going their own way. Our sin separates us from our perfect God, a debt that can only be paid by a perfect, divine sacrifice.  This was accomplished through the historical reality of the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of a sinless Jesus Christ.  This single event overcame sin, death and the separation between God and man for all who believe, confess, and repent toward Him as Lord and Savior, and is not earned by our effort!  After this salvation, we are in continual process in becoming more like Jesus every day and are called according to His purpose by practicing spiritual disciplines, spiritual fruit, and spiritual gifts through the filling, empowerment, and baptism in the Holy Spirit.

The two ordinances of the Church we are all to practice is water baptism as a public declaration of an inward, spiritual reality and communion in remembering Jesus, His life and sacrifice, and our response thereto.

At the end of this world, Jesus is coming again to institute judgement and His full Kingdom through a new Heaven and new Earth.  Until that day we are to continue to pursue the bringing of Heaven on Earth as we know it.
